What is JudeoXian all about?
Judeo = of or relating to Judaism
Xian = short hand for “Christian” (the Greek letter “x” chi being the first letter of Xristos, Christ)
We are Christians who practice Judaism. Why? In short, because Jesus did. He’s our Savior, our Lord, and our Rabbi. As his disciples, it is our desire to live out our faith the way he did. Therefore, by the strength of God’s Spirit, we seek to obey the commandments of the Torah, as modeled by Jesus, and in many cases, as they have been preserved by Judaism.
We also highly regard the traditions of both Judaism and Christianity as well. Unfortunately, it seems that these two communities have diametrically opposed one another throughout history. However, there have been instances where Christians have rediscovered their Jewish roots and Jews have come to embrace the true King of Israel. It is our belief that both communities are enriched and rejuvenated through embracing one another.
